Join me in a peek behind the scenes as Lorraine Molins (a Chichester artist) showed me round her wonderful studio.
It was a joy to see artworks in development, and to find out more about the process involved in creating them. For a photographer stuck in the digital world, it’s just wonderful to see the physicality of creating paintings.
My intention is to capture a complete portrait of the artist and their expertise: studio shots, portraits, tools of the trade and the creative process in action.
“I couldn’t be happier with the photos Louise took of me. She is a true professional - very easy to get on with and I found the whole process exciting and inspiring.
Louise made me feel so at ease, and took time to chat first, look around and let me know with each photo what she had in mind.
The resulting photographs are the best I’ve had done. She took photographs both inside the studio and outside – finding out about my inspiration, asking about colour mixing, the tools I use – so she could take photographs that reflect me and my work.
I highly recommend Louise – the photos are terrific, you couldn’t do better than to choose Louise!”
