I’ve been for a full-time photographer for 15 years, specialised in people photography: www.louiserosephotography.com

I’m turning my attention now specifically to photographing artists and makers in Sussex. Because I love being around artists, and because I love watching people create! I’m drawn to the physical process of making art - maybe because we’re in such a digital age now, it’s becoming even more magical to see humans create things with their hands. I really want to celebrate this with my photography, and to support local artists and makers.

A nature lover myself, I’m especially interested in artists who are inspired by the natural landscape. I get cabin fever fast, and am most often found out for a long dog walk!

I previously managed a photography gallery, and have an MA in Photography.

Delighted to say that I’ve won awards over the years, and have had my work published in 20+ publications.

In 2022, I bought a house in Bracklesham (West Sussex), having visited the area at least monthly since 2013. It’s been an absolute joy getting to know the area better and better, discovering more beautiful walks and discovering the creative scene here. My particular favourites are West Wittering (no surprises there), Medmerry nature reserve and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park (despite the fact I always get lost there!).

Growing up, we spent a lot of time with family friends in Haywards Heath. I loved taking my daughter camping in Hartfield most summers, glamping in Emsworth most summers, and weekend trips to Brighton and Rye. Crazily I’ve still not been to Hastings or St Leonard’s - next on the list!

I’m now looking to re-focus my portfolio on Sussex artists, and look forward to hearing from you :)
